A word about sizes: For items other than cages, when we indicate something is intended for a particular size bird, here are examples of what those sizes refer to:
Tiny- Finches and canaries. Extra Small - parakeets, lovebirds, cockatiels, lorikeets, parrotlets, black-capped conures. Small - sun conures, Senegals, quakers, Meyers and Nanday conures. Medium - pionus; Timneh African greys; Jardines, severe and noble macaws; Goffin, bare-eyed and citron cockatoos. Large - Amazons; eclectus; Congo African greys; umbrella and medium sulphur-crested cockatoos. Extra Large - blue & gold, military, scarlet and green-winged macaws; Moluccan, triton and greater sulphur-crested cockatoos.
Remember: Every bird is different. Some little ones can be very destructive, while a macaw may be a gentle giant. You know your own bird better than anyone!
