Texas Star Collar

We are proud to feature the Texas Star Collar from Auburn Leathercrafters. These handsome and rugged leather collars are designed specifically for large dogs. Each collar is made of fine quality top grain bridle leather and has beveled and hand finished edges for comfort. The Texas Star Collars are assembled with solid hardware, smooth capped rivets all with a bright nickel finish. Each Star Collar is finished with an adornment of shimmering Texas Stars in your choice of blue or red.

A word about collar sizing:

If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog's current collar, measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole. These dog collars are sized according to this measurement, not to the over-all length of the collar, which varies by manufacturer and by whether it is a buckle-end or a D-end style collar. If this is your dog's first collar or you need a collar in a different size, measure around the dog's neck with an allowance for 2 fingers to fit between the dog and the collar.  The collar shouldn't be so tight that it will cause discomfort or so loose that it slides over the dog’s head.

• 1" x 14" adjustable from 12"-14".
• 1" x 16" adjustable from 14"-16".
• 1-1/2" x 18" adjustable from 16"-18".
• 1-1/2" x 20" adjustable from 18"-20".
• 1-1/2" x 22" adjustable from 20"-22".
• 2" x 24" adjustable from 22"-24".
• 2" x 26" adjustable from 24"-26".

The Texas Star Dog Collars are available in black bridle leather with your choice of red or blue star hardware.

Care Instructions: Auburn Leathercrafters, manufacturer of this fine leather item, recommends that it be occasionally cleaned (following package directions) with saddle soap to keep it looking its best.
